How many students do you influence? We believe we can affect the most students by impacting even a small number of educators. Imagine the power of every educator!
ReachOut exists to engage educators in transforming schools and classrooms to effectively serve culturally diverse children and families.
ReachOut is the social enterprise of New Futures, an award-winning, nationally acclaimed site-based provider of services and programs to low-income children, families and neighborhoods. ReachOut uses the proven results of over a decade of New Futures’ work to share best-practices and concrete strategies in the area of equity/cultural competence.

We Are Discussing
Every week a ReachOut staff member or volunteer chooses a different article, movie clip, or book chapter to bring to our weekly discussion group.
This week, Greta picked a TED Talk video with Isebel Allende, author of the books The House of Spirits and City of the Beasts for our discussion.
Check back next week for another discussion topic!
