Awards and Recognition
- Heidi Schillinger, ReachOut Director, was named Outstanding Practicum Instructor 2008-2009 by the University of Washington School of Social Work.
- Heidi Schillinger participated in the 2009 Cultural Competency Work Group, convened by the Washington State Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB). The work group was charged with identifying and recommending a set of standards for cultural competence for educators in Washington State. The work group’s recommendations will be presented to PESB, which will present the recommendations to the state legislature.
